Vice President

Chris is an expert in data management, targeting, voter contact, campaign finance and party operations. Chris also works with campaigns and organizations to find effective ways of using new technologies and the Internet to build their resources. Prior to joining FieldWorks in 2004, Chris was Director of the successful 2000 and 2002 Kansas Coordinated Campaigns, playing a key role in the re-election of Congressman Dennis Moore and the election of Governor Kathleen Sebelius. Chris joined the Kansas Democratic Party staff in 1998 and was named Executive Director in 2000.

In 2003, Chris was elected President of the Young Democrats of America (YDA). He was re-elected in 2005 the first two-term YDA president since the 1970s. As YDA President, Chris led YDA in an unprecedented program to increase young voter turnout.

In 2004, 2005 and 2006, Chris worked with David Nickerson, a renowned researcher at the University of Notre Dame and former student of Green and Gerber, the authoritative minds on voter contact research, on specific evaluations and testing of voter contact programs. Chris' experience in setting up, executing, and finalizing evaluation programs has led to highly respected research regarding young voters and contact methods.

In 2010 Chris was elected to a two-year term as Treasurer of the International Federation of Liberal Youth, a global organization dedicated to promoting democracy throughout the world. The Federation has more than 90 member organizations from every continent.

Chris lives in Kensington, MD, with his wife Allison, his son Benjamin, and their dog Logan.
